Riding the Amazon algorithms is always a rollercoaster but Gargoyle Pixie Dog is doing well in the
main ebook chart plus Murder, Crime and Heist.
It has also attracted very positive reviews. One makes the interesting point that Gargoyle Pixie Dog is a useful introduction to Danny Lancaster for anyone who hasn’t read
the previous four novels, The Wreck Of The Margherita, Death Squad, Rough Diamond and Rock Hard. You can read the reviews at the links below.
We celebrated publication at The Crescent in Brighton,
tended by Lauren’s lovely bar staff, supping their excellent Long Man Best Bitter and munching on a monster book cover cake that was a masterful feat of engineering by Jenny.
A big “thank you” to all the people who made the launch party such fun. Support like that really lifts a writer’s heart when the book is just out and you’re
waiting for the jury to deliver their verdict.
My only regret is that it’s not possible to hold an event for everyone who made Gargoyle Pixie Dog possible because they are scattered across continents. I’ve been wishing mental slices of coffee and walnut cake in their direction.
And special thanks to Zoe for all her organising and PR efforts.
Gargoyle Pixie Dog is doing well but still needs tweets, RTs, likes,
shares and – most important of all – reviews to keep the Danny Lancaster bandwagon rolling on.
Thanks again to everyone from me and everyone at Team Danny
